My house--a construction odyssey

Mark and Sandy from Whidbey Island Woodworks came back today to finish the cabinet trim. They also were nice enough to install the knobs and to fasten down the counter on the island. I thought it looked great before but the kitchen looks awesome now. I'm so excited to have a real place to cook! The picture is of the pull on the one glass door upper we have next to the sink...as you can probably tell it's a frog. I could only afford to buy one but I thought it was cute  read more »

Yay progress!
Lance and Golda showed up this morning and started on the finish set for the electric...yay! The floor installer just showed up too so hopefully everyone doesn't mind tripping over each other.

I had to move the appliance delivery again to Monday. Hopefully Hubby can complete the tile on Sunday.

The garage door arrives tomorrow and will be installed.

The slab has been completed and it was about $1000 less than what I had budgeted even with concrete at $84/yrd. When we did the house in 2003 it was $58....wow. Doug from A2Z Concrete did an awesome job and except for where my dog ran accross it, it's as smooth as a babies rear end!  read more »
