I think all it needs is some advertising.
Maybe some 3x5 cards placed on store bullitan boards to get the word out would help. I would be happy to put the word out on the Coupeville Red Apple store bullitan, out front.
That is the location, where I am from.

Yes, this is a nice website, seems a shame that there is little or no interest in the activities here. One would think there are no internet users on Whidbey Island, or Whidbey Island internet users cannot be bothered with interacting with neighbors of their region. Strange, as I do not find Whidbeyites to be stand-offish at all.
I have lived on the Island, off and on, for nearly thirty years. This time I came back to earn my Associates Transfer Degree from O.H. Skagit Valley College, a most intense three years - no algebra studies in my ed. life.

I think we are all pioneers in a way. We are building a community on-line and are laying the foundation for people to come. I say enjoy the quiet and solitude right now, because a few months from now, this place will be so fully of chatter you won't have time to sleep at night. :snooze:
